This is the actual unit in the Rio Grande river bed in Big Bend national Park. No four-wheel drive needed here but it is nice to know that it is just a button-push away when you want it. |
![]() Here, you see it equally at home in a pre-Katrina setting amid pines and spanish moss in Diamondhead, Ms. |
| Our "nearly new" 21 foot 2005 Provan
Tiger CX mini-motorhome (P-Tiger) is up for sale. DW wants something
different 'cause she is more of an RV Park kinda' gal rather than a 4x4
off-the-grid individual. The unit is like new, located in Hoover,
Alabama and can be seen by appointment. Email is poolplayer@mindspring.com.
I'll be posting pics of all the significant stuff as quickly as
possible. As info, the NADA numbers are not correct. They address only
the 19 foot regular cab version and do not even include the right
factory MSRP for what they do show. To see
a reconciliation of the NADA MSRP and this unit, click here.
Added nylon strap handles to assist
opening/closing jacknife sofa.
Added folding towel rack in shower for drying wet things. Applied silicon sealant and velcro dots on all cabinetry door panels and frames to eliminate squeaks and panel rattles. Added Aqua-pur filter to sink faucet. Added sound-dampening non-skid stuff to all cabinets. Removed factory roof access ladder (will come with the unit). Added rear-bumper stowage sewer hose and fittings. Added rear-bumper storage (mail-box) for all drinking water stuff. Added Maxx-air Fanmate 800 cover over Fantastic Fan for all weather ventilation. Added decorative cover for cab-over mattress with concealed pull-ropes for eliminating wrinkles. Added "stove-silencer" to stove top for more counter space.
Added Vr3 Backup camera.
Added "instant privacy screen" (aka
Walmart vinyl venetian blind) between coach and cab. You won't
believe how convenient this is.
The Original MSRP was $83,520.
Asking $64,500. If I've added it up correctly, the closest
equivalent new standard Tiger CX you could buy would be close to
$90k and would have to be the diesel/LP genny combination in order
to get the Allison transmission. And then, you would still have to
do all the custom work yourself.

![]() ![]() I extended the coach floor to create new externally accessible cross-truck storage and then added a combination pantry and storage unit. It also provides a home for a securely mounted toaster oven that will come with the unit if desired. There are NO squeaks and rattles associated with these mods. |
![]() ![]() The "mail-box" provides dedicated outside storage for all of the drinking water stuff while sewer stuff lives in a hidey-hole between the rear bumper and the coach body. The home-made red oak end cap for the jack-knife sofa-bed replaces the factory upholstered piece with something sturdy, pretty, and useful. |
![]() ![]() Two tiny little drawers under the wardrobe disappeared in favor of the home-brewed modification you see here. A shopping bag held in place by spring-lipped cuphooks holds the inevitable trash while the dirty clothes go into and out of the compartment via the "laundry chute". If you must winterize your unit, you'll love this for another reason. The two low-point drain valves for the water lines are now much more accessible. |

![]() ![]() The home-made Reflectix insulated inserts for the cab windows work great when you need total light control but this vinyl venetian blind from Walmart is quick and convenient when instant access to the extended cab storage isn't needed. |
![]() ![]() Home-brewed lightweight plastic sliding doors replace the factory upholstered snap-in panel under the jack-knife sofa. I added 110v and 12v outlets as well to keep laptop cords from being stretched across the floor. The red nylon strap handle I attached to the sofa frame matches one on the top edge to make opening and closing the jack-knife a lot easier. |
